About

Sheryl Lim is a Singaporean Creative Producer and filmmaker currently based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Growing up in Singapore, Sheryl has always been surrounded by different cultures, stories, and perspectives that shaped the way she sees and understands the world. With a background in Media Art and Filmmaking from Nanyang Technological University, she discovered her passion for storytelling through exploring different forms of visual media, from producing and directing films to editing, photography, and creative production.

Sheryl is drawn to the process of turning ideas into stories. Whether it is developing a concept, bringing people together on set, or shaping a story in post-production, she finds joy in every stage of the creative journey. Her experience across different roles has given her a deeper appreciation of the collaboration, problem-solving, and human connections that bring a project to life.

Driven by curiosity, Sheryl is always looking for new experiences and opportunities to learn. She believes that every person, place, and encounter has a story to tell, and she hopes to create work that captures these moments in a meaningful and authentic way.

Outside of filmmaking, Sheryl enjoys photography, diving, exploring new places, watching films, and finding inspiration in the little moments of everyday life.
